METRO “I Ride” Documentary Premieres Tonight

Getting around the pavement in Houston can be tricky. The solution however is easy – ride public transit.

Tonight’s premiere of “I Ride” at 6 p.m. on Comcast’s HCCTV Channel 19 features riders from all walks of life who have one thing in common – METRO.  Hear why they ride public transit, where they travel to and what benefits they enjoy by letting METRO do the driving.

For some – METRO is more than just a bus or rail ride to work. It’s a place to build friendships and an avenue that allows them to explore what the city has to offer.

Find out what city hot spots are just a METRO ride away. And, if you don’t know how to use the METRO system, “I Ride” will show you.

Tune in and watch “I Ride” tonight on Comcast’s HCCTV Channel 19 at 6 p.m. It will air Monday through Friday, June 29 – July 4. The documentary will also be posted by 5 p.m. tonight on our Web site at www.ridemetro.org.

This is the third documentary of a series of programs that showcase METRO, its services and the future of transit.

Every Monday through July 13, a new METRO program will air on a variety of topics, such as METRO’s role in emergency management, regional transit and much more. Stay tuned.
