METRO Board briefed on METRO Solutions procurement process Last Thursday (December 7), METRO's Board of Directors held a working meeting to learn about the procurement process for a large portion of the METRO Solutions Phase 2 Implementation Plan. METRO staff briefed board members about the process toward selecting a Facility Provider for the final design and construction of the North, East End, Southeast and Uptown Corridors, as well as the Intermodal Terminal. The slideshow presentation is available online. Please note that no formal actions were taken. A follow-up briefing is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13 at 11:30 a.m. at the METRO Board Room at 1900 Main, second floor. No formal actions will be taken during this meeting either. METRO briefs downtown stakeholders on Southeast Corridor Last week, METRO staff presented a slideshow to the Downtown Management District. The presentation focused on the downtown station locations of the Southeast Corridor. Due to multiple graphics, the electronic file of the entire presentation is extremely large.
