Public Art Visioning Workshops in Progress

StationArt.jpgThe first of several Public Art Community Visioning Workshops took place last Thursday, November 9.  Residents, business owners and other stakeholders along the East End Corridor viewed a transit art presentation and had a hands-on opportunity to share their ideas on this community's history, industry, nature, colors and imagery.  These ideas will be shared with artists, and may be incorporated as design elements of the METRO Solutions transit stations and other facilities. METRO attends University Corridor Open House

Open House events are opportunities for METRO to provide University Corridor stakeholders with information about this project.  Cameron Management, located at 3000 Richmond Avenue, hosted an Open House last Wednesday, November 8.  Dozens of building tenants, their employees, and customers visited the lobby where METRO staff and project exhibit materials were available from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. If your group (Civic Association, retail center, office complex, etc.) would like to host an Open House, please contact the Stakeholder Representative for the University Corridor.

State of METRO Presentation now available online

Last week, we reported upon President and CEO Frank Wilson's remarks about METRO Solutions in his State of METRO presentation.  That presentation is now available online.  The video / slide show is about 40 minutes.  However, once the video has loaded (100%), you may select any topic of interest.
