How long will construction take?
Construction for the entire Southeast Corridor is expected to take approximately four years. Construction is expected to begin in the fall of 2008 and service is scheduled to begin in 2012. That does not mean that the entire route will be torn up for that entire period. METRO is committed to minimizing the impact of construction by completing each segment of the route in as short a time as possible.
