PURPOSE
An Alternatives Analysis for the Uptown Corridor was completed before the 2003 referendum and there has been little activity on this locally funded project since then. As Preliminary Engineering is beginning for all five corridors of the METRO Solutions plan, METRO called this meeting to show the public the plans as they exist today.
COMMENTS/QUESTIONS ADDRESSED AT INFORMATION STATIONS
- Uptown area residents were interested in learning about the level of service this line would provide connections to other existing and proposed METRO services.
- Questions were asked about construction impacts.
- Residents were interested in the learning about environment-friendly technologies.
